This will be the mission statement for American Wave Records in the coming years.

We currently book some of the best live acts around the Mountain West. We will soon be offering some of the best independent music around in our online store.

Right now you can purchase David James Fritch Christmas CD from our store. Soon all of our artists will be available online at our store. We will soon be including other great independent artists with our unique "on demand" duplication and sales feature. This does not require you to supply us or maintain any inventory of CD's. All you have to do is set your CD up for sale with us and collect your checks when they sell. If you are an artist interested in being featured in our store contact me for more information. carlfritch@we-rock.com

We intend to offer in this blog reviews of some great music with links to where it can be purchased on such sites as CD Baby.

I'm very excited about what we will be doing in the next year.

Peace & Quiet #22 on the American Idol Underground charts

I got some unexpected good news today; it seems that Paradise off our first album is #22 on the American Idol Underground charts.

American Idol Underground is an online community where emerging artists get their music heard and fans discover new music. As a new artist, we are featured in one of American Idol Underground's genre-specific music areas.

As a fan, you get to hear the next big thing before it becomes the next big thing. More importantly, you get a real say in what music gets heard. Our last show at the Huka Bar was fun as usual. We will be returning the first of September. Stay tuned for the date. We had a special guest show up at the Huka Bar, Mr. Jason Hewlett, Utahs premier impressionist. Jason is an incredible entertainer and you should see his show if you ever get a chance. Here is our current schedule.August 4th Seven Peaks Water Park in Provo 7:00P.M. (All ages, must pay water park admission).

We may be playing Flirts the middle of August but it is still not confirmed.

Everything else through August is a private party.

This is the premier of our Blog. This is a new way for fans to get the latest news about the band, interact with us and get special offers to our shows.

We will update this Blog with information about the band at regular intervals. Everyone is encouraged to ask questions, request songs for us to play at shows and generally have fun with this great medium.

We are Pleased to announce we are playing the Huka Bar at 151 East 6100 South in Salt Lake City March 4th from 9:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M.
